Tatyana Gao
Leadership Development Expert
Tatyana Gao is a leadership development expert who helps organizations and individuals navigate transformation with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Her work is grounded in both deep professional expertise and a remarkable personal story of resilience. After surviving a severe accident in 1998 that left her unable to sit for over six months -- as well as navigating profound geopolitical and personal upheaval, including the dissolution of her country, family separation, poverty, and depression-- Tatyana learned early what it means to rebuild, reframe, and lead oneself through adversity. Those experiences shaped her lifelong commitment to conscious, people-centered leadership.

With over a decade of professional experience supporting complex environments, including Harvard University, Dartmouth College, small businesses, and large organizations, Tatyana specializes in leadership development, emotional intelligence, communications, sales, and ADKAR-based change management. Her approach integrates structured methodologies with the human elements of behavior, communication, and mindset. She helps leaders and teams improve alignment, accelerate adoption, and move through change with intention rather than reaction.

As the Founder of Monada Coaching & Consulting, Tatyana empowers clients through executive coaching, leadership training, DISC-based communication development, and organizational transformation programs. Her Conscious Leadership Method helps leaders elevate their self-awareness, make aligned decisions, and create thriving cultures where people and performance grow together.
A certified member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team, Tatyana is passionate about equipping leaders, professionals, and organizations with the tools they need to become more adaptive, strategic, and resilient in an ever-changing world. Her work has been featured in podcasts, radio, and leadership development platforms.

When she’s not coaching leaders, training teams, or speaking at events, you’ll find Tatyana dancing, singing, gardening, reading, or traveling the world with her husband, Nik, and their two children.
